Get to know our Head of School

Our Head of School, Lacy Young, has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education through 6th grade and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Before coming to St. James, Lacy was the Director of Peace Lutheran Preschool and Daycare in El Paso, TX. She also has 5 years of experience as an Elementary School Teacher. Lacy has a daughter, Poppy, that attends St. James along side her. Lacy and Poppy are delighted to be at St. James and very excited to continue the legacy that is St. James.
